Instruction for use

Important:

• Wear protective gloves.
• Do not wash your hair.
• Do not use a metal bowl or applicator.

Coloring with Wellcolor color cream

Mixing recommendations:

1.Regular coloring.

Mixing Ratio:

Natural tones, bright red and dark brown are always mixed 1:1, e.g. 60 ml of Wellcolor color cream + 60 ml of Prof-Oxid color activator.

• darker/tone-on-tone/one tone lighter: Prof-Oxid Activator 6% (20 Vol.).
• 2 tones lighter: Prof-Oxid activator 9% (30 Vol.).
• 3 tones brighter: Prof-Oxid activator 12% (40 Vol.).

A Special Blond is always mixed in a 1:2 ratio, for example, 60 ml of Wellcolor color cream + 120 ml of Prof-Oxid color activator. For 3 tone lightening, use Prof-Oxid 9% (30 Vol.) color activator, for 4-5 tone lightening – Prof-Oxid 12% (40 Vol.).

Coloring gray hair:

When coloring gray hair, it is necessary to add a pure natural tone to achieve optimal gray coverage.

• For 30-50% gray hair, add 1/3 of a pure natural Wellcolor tone.
• With 50-100% gray hair, add 1/2 of a pure natural Wellcolor tone.

Bright red tones are mixed on hair with more than 50% gray content with 2 parts of Wellcolor bright red tone and 1 part of Wellcolor natural tone, for example, 1/2 tube of bright red tone + 1/4 tube of Wellcolor color cream natural tone.

Coloring of regrown roots:

First, apply the color cream mixture only to the regrown root part of the hair. Start applying from the place where the gray hair content is highest. For a lighter color, start with the area where the most lightening is needed. Exposure time: with heat for 15-25 minutes, without heat for 30-40 minutes.

Tip: For lighter coloring, apply more mixture than for regular coloring.

Color alignment along the length of the hair and at the ends:

After the exposure time, moisturize your hair well with water using a spray bottle (use 100 ml for blonde tones). Then emulsify the color and distribute it along the entire length to the ends of the hair. Exposure time: 5-10 minutes without heat.

Coloring the entire length of the hair tone – in – tone or darker:

Apply the color cream mixture along the entire length of the hair, from roots to tips.

Exposure time: with heat for 15-25 minutes, without heat for 30-40 minutes.

Coloring the entire length of the hair with lightening to a tone and lighter:

Step 1: apply the color mixture only along the length of the hair and on the ends. Leave about 2 cm free of roots.

Step 2: apply the coloring mixture to the root part.

Exposure time: with heat for 15-25 minutes, without heat for 30-40 minutes.

Tip: To increase brightness at the length of the hair and at the ends, choose the Prof-Oxid activator one level stronger than for the roots.

2. Coloring in blonde tones.

Mixing ratio: 1:2 (1 part Wellcolor, 2 parts Prof-Oxid). For example, 60 ml of Wellcolor color cream + 120 ml of Prof-Oxid color activator).

• 3 tone lighting: Prof-Oxid color activator 9% (30 Vol.).
• Lightening up to 5 tones: Prof-Oxid color activator 12% (40 Vol.).

Coloring of overgrown roots or color alignment along the length of the hair and at the tips:

Look for recommendations for applying the color cream mixture and exposure time for similar coloring are in the section “Regular coloring”.

Coloring the entire length of the hair:

Step 1: apply the color cream mixture only along the length of the hair and on the ends.

Exposure time: with heat for 10-15 minutes, without heat for 20-30 minutes.

Step 2: apply the color cream mixture to the root part.

Exposure time: 25-35 minutes with heat, 50-60 minutes without heat.

Important: for a longer exposure time (more than 30 minutes), it is necessary to check the structure of the hair beforehand, especially when using light shades of Wellcolor color cream.

Tip: when bleaching hair, the color mixture should be applied in a thicker layer than with regular coloring.

3. Pastel tones coloring.

Mixing ratio: 1:2 (1 part Wellcolor color cream, 2 parts Prof-Oxid activator 1.9% (5 Vol.). For example, 60 ml of Wellcolor color cream + 120 ml of Prof-Oxid color activator. Apply the color mixture immediately from the base to the tips. For beautiful, soft pastel shades, we recommend the nuances of Wellcolor 10/0, 10/1, 10/3, 10/16, 10/8, 9/0, 9/1, 9/3, 9/16, 9/7. Exposure time: up to 15 minutes without heat.

Important: the main condition for coloring in pastel tones is evenly blond hair (1/2 tone lighter than the desired final result) or undyed hair with a tone depth of 9/0 or lighter. To achieve an even color, it is necessary to comb the hair every 5 minutes during the entire exposure time.

Follow-up:

After the exposure time, emulsify the Wellcolor color with a small amount of warm water and rinse well. Rinse with Wellumina Color Care Shampoo. Rinse off shampoo. To neutralize oxidation residues and stabilize the color, use Gerbazid Post-Color rinse. The exposure time of Gerbazid Post-Color is 3-5 minutes. Rinse off Gerbazid Post-Color and start styling.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS. READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE.  USE DISPOSABLE PROTECTIVE GLOVES WHILE PREPARING THE MIXTURE, APPLYING IT TO THE HAIR AND RINSING THE HAIR. BE SURE TO PERFORM AN ALLERGY TEST 48 HOURS BEFORE EACH USE OF THE PRODUCT, EVEN IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY USED WELLCOLOR OR ANOTHER COLORING PRODUCT ON THE CUSTOMER. KEEP THE PACKAGING AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE IN CASE OF AN ALLERGIC REACTION. ALLERGY TEST: Prepare a 1 cm² thick test swab on the inside of the elbow or on the skin behind the ear. Apply a small amount with a cotton swab. Repeat the application 2 or 3 times, allowing the product to dry between applications. Close the color tube tightly. Wait 48 hours and do not wash, cover, or touch. If during this time an abnormal reaction occurs, such as redness, irritation, swelling in or around the test site, DO NOT APPLY THE COLOR. Note: the absence of a reaction to this test does not give a complete guarantee of the absence of an allergic reaction. However, this is an important precaution.  IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR.  IN CASE OF AN ALLERGIC REACTION DURING APPLICATION OF THE PRODUCT, SUCH AS: SEVERE TINGLING, IRRITATION, RASH, ITCHING, BURNING SENSATION OF THE SCALP, RINSE OFF THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY AND STOP USING IT, AS THIS MAY INDICATE A MORE SERIOUS ALLERGIC REACTION. If, after coloring or a few days AFTER, the client complains of itching of the body or scalp, rashes, swelling of the eyes, face or blisters, he MUST IMMEDIATELY CONSULT A DOCTOR.

PRECAUTIONS:

• This product contains substances that can cause serious eye irritation, up to damage with irreversible consequences. Avoid contact with eyes. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water. If you wear contact lenses, remove them before rinsing and consult your doctor.
• Do not inhale or ingest this product.
• It is recommended to prepare the mixture in a well-ventilated area.
• Do not use immediately before and after permanent, perming, straightening, long-term smoothing.
• Do not use metal objects when coloring.
• Do not use if hair has previously been colored with henna or metallic salts.
• Remove all metal objects before coloring and do not use them during coloring.
• Excessive sweating can cause discoloration and lead to partial discoloration.
• Protect the Prof-Oxid activator and cream color from heat and light.
• Do not mix Wellcolor cream color with other colors and oxides.
• Use only for its intended purpose – for hair coloring.
• Do not store any remaining cream color.
• Do not store the resulting coloring mixture in a closed vial (the vial may swell or explode).
• Do not exceed the exposure time.
• For all questions regarding your client’s individual sensitivity to cream color, it is recommended to consult a doctor.

Warning: This product is not intended for individuals under 16 years of age. Use protective gloves. After coloring, rinse hair thoroughly with water. If product comes into contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Do not use for сoloring eyebrows or eyelashes. Keep out of reach of children. Follow instructions strictly.
